A trip from U.S to Vietnam to see JYJ ;)

I don’t normally write fan account, but I guess this time I will since I was so excited. Most of what I wrote is based on press news. I didn’t attend any events except for the actual match itself. It’s just a memory for me. I’m sorry that it’s kinda a very long fan account.

When I saw the confirmation on JYJ’s schedule that they would perform at Park Ji Sung’s soccer match, I decided to make a trip from US to Vietnam to see JYJ. I knew that their performance at the soccer match would be short compared to their concert, but I still wanted to go because it would be a different experience.

And so three weeks before the match day, I got my airplane ticket. However, I was unable to find the match ticket because I heard that they didn’t openly sell ticket for this event. Right when I arrived to Vietnam, I called my cousins to ask if they knew where I could buy ticket. Somehow they got the tickets for me…Thank you, cousin ;) (it’s good being a younger cousin ;) kekeke)

On Jun 13 night, I got the information that JJ and JS gonna arrive to VN with the soccer team. Although I knew their flight info, I couldn’t go to the airport to welcome them because my parents wouldn’t let me go :( Besides, I don’t have a car/license in Vietnam :’( The 2Kims got out from VIP gate, so there weren’t many fan pics. There were lots of fans waiting at the airport. I only saw press pics of them when they got to the hotel. When I passed by their hotel the next day, I saw so many fans waiting outside of the hotel. I decided not to stalk them at all because I’m afraid of the chaos and pushing fans.

On Jun 14, JJ and JS had a charity event at Thanh Long stadium. They supposed to meet the youth soccer team in Vietnam (sorry I’m not very sure about the event). Again, I didn’t go because of my parents *sigh* But there were many press and cameras followed them, so I was ensured that I would get update about them. From the press pics, JJ and JS seemed to be really happy. They smiled a lot. Oh my…Seeing JaeJoong’s smile was priceless to me no matter if I was there or not. However, the weather in VN is really hot and humid. I hope JJ and JS were ok. I saw pic of JJ tied up his bang after a while at the stadium…sorry oppa!! The weather is too crazy!!! On that night, JJ and JS had a charity dinner with the soccer team. JJ looked amazing as always ;) Also, on that night, some people spotted JJ having a drink with Park Ji Sung…oppa is really good at socializing!!!

Finally, the match day Jun 15 had come :D Also, on that day, Yoochun would arrive in the afternoon. This time YC got out at normal gate. Oh no oppa!! Big mistake!!! It was a complete chaos. I heard that fans gone completely crazy. YC already looked really fatigue probably due to filming schedule. With fans pushing and trying to touch him, he could hardly move. I’m truly sorry oppa :( Because Vietnam fans don’t usually get to see idols, they got really excited. Please understand for them!! One more time, I honestly want to send a deep sorry to Yoochun.

There was info that JYJ would perform during half time, but other source said that they would perform at the beginning. I was totally confused. I just had to wait and see. I arrived at the stadium really early, around 3:30pm, in order to get good seat. My ticket was not for VIP seats :( so I only got decent view. Why didn’t they just openly sell ticket :O With updates, it said that JYJ would perform at 5:30pm. But JYJ didn’t get to the stadium until 5pm due to traffic. At the stadium, there were many Cassies. There were two huge banners: one JYJ, the other JaeJoong (I’m so proud that my Hero is highly loved <3) When they did sound system check with just the music of Empty, everyone was screaming wildly. Here come the main moment of my whole trip. JYJ walked up stage for their performance, shining as usual. They performed two songs: Be My Girl remix and Empty remix. The press said they also scheduled to sing Get Out, but they ended up with only two songs. After the first song, they said thank you to fans. While performing, they also turned to all directions so that fans could all see their faces. Jae oppa and Junsu oppa wore sleeveless shirt (maybe the weather is too hot) but oppas are too hot too!!! Kekeke Yoochun oppa looked more formal though…ayay the rich and dandy prince ;) Jae also wore shade the whole time so I couldn’t really see his face. GUESS what I could see Jae’s arm muscle. Although I encountered his muscle up close when I gave him my gift at LA concert, seeing it again still make me faint…;) Mr. McSteamy LOL Back to JYJ’s performance, they didn’t dance because the stage was small, and they didn’t bring their dancers with them. The sound system at the stadium was quite bad, too much bass. When JS first started singing, his mic didn’t work too…so sorry oppa!!

After the performance, JYJ went backstage. But then they went up to watch the match too I guessed. I couldn’t see where they seat, but I saw press pointing camera at the section in front of the VIP section. I guessed that’s where they seating. Park Ji Sung scored the second goal for his team (I’m not so sure because the reporter didn’t speak very clear) I only saw no.13 (PJS) scored a goal.

But now it came to the moment that I would never imagine. After half-time, Junsu changed to soccer uniform and walked on the field together with PJS’s team. But when the second half of the game started, JS didn’t actually play. Fans were chanting KIM JUNSU to get him on the field. Since the time JS changed into soccer uniform, I swore that Cassies only paid attention to his every move instead of watching the match LMAO Fans got crazier when JS started warming up with some running back and forth. Finally, before the last 10mins of the match, there was a change in people for PJS’s team. Of course, it’s a change for Junsu to kick some ball :D The commenter praised that Junsu is a famous singer but also a good soccer player…oh yeah oori oppa is really talented!!! I bet Junsu was really happy to play, but I was busted in joy to watch. I saw updates about FCMen before but nothing was as amazing as seeing Junsu on the field with my own eyes. Junsu had a really walking/running posture on the soccer field. He was on the left side of the goal the whole time, so I didn’t really see him clearly. Urgh people on the other side of the stadium were too lucky!!! JS got the ball a few times, but he didn’t make any goal. Every time JS got the ball, Cass would scream loudly and chant KIM JUNSU. V-Cass are really awesome :) And then, the match finally ended. Final score is 4-3 with Vietnam won. I was a bit sad because I came to support PJS’s team ;)

I got picked up at the stadium right after the match because my family was worried about me. I don’t live in Vietnam lately so I don’t know the way around in order to be by myself. So I didn’t get to see JYJ leaving. I heard that their bus got accompanied by many police motorcycles…that’s really good to hear (they got well protected the whole time they were in VN too) On 6/15 night, JJ and JS together with the soccer team took the night flight to get back to Korea. They went by VIP gate again (smart :)) But Yoochun went separately through normal gate. I heard that YC took a different flight (not so sure about this)

And so I got to see the last event on JYJ’s schedule of this year (for now) I hope that they would do something toward the end of this year. Since they introduced four new songs at the concert, they should record another album and have another showcase like last year, shouldn’t they??? Kekeke Thank you Park Ji Sung and JYJ for giving me the best experience. I had so much fun at the match. My trip is totally worth it <3 Now I’ll return to US to wait for the one and only one Hero and JYJ to visit America again. My new resolution/promise is I’ll go to every stop of showcase/concert in the West coast ;)
