RT @BreakingNews: Dominican-American Model and Actress Alexandra Cheron died in a car crash today. Reports say that Cheron, 28, was driving and was pronounce dead at the hospital.
Cheron was driving South on Route 3 (autovia del este) to Santo domingo in Dominican Republic and moved into the opposite lane where a truck was driving northbound. The truck driver saw the car and tried to move out of the way, but still collided with the actress's car head on, according to witnesses.
It's unclear what caused Cheron to veer into the other lane. Her children Melyssa and Brandon were also involved in the crash and rushed to the hospital, along with the truck driver.
Cheron who survived a car accident on the same road almost 3years ago was engaged to college baseball player Franklin Reyes and was planning to get married this summer in France.
