Sometimes journalism is packaging and concocted marketing opinions designed to make money. Sometimes, though, it's showing things for what they are to develop valuable perspectives.
@JoeNBC talks to Pat Buchanan, like his tired story of what's gonna happen might hit this time - even though he's been incorrect and full of crap for more than 40 years. Morning Joe shows sound like political media opportunities - all about sensationalized wedge issue talking points.
Rachel finds people in the middle of the action, has them tell us what they're doing and what they feel. She leaves us feeling we have a better understanding and appreciation for a struggle we have engaged so far away.
