Today I learned some disturbing information about a "writer" (and yes I used air quotes here because he's really not) who has had the gall lately to bad mouth certain very nice people in the horror industry even after he's been black listed from several organizations and multiple publications for plagarism and overall nasty underhanded conduct. This person (this was before I knew who he was and what his reputation is) requested a piece from me a year ago to include in an anthology, which he said I would be receiving payment for, but, fancy this, I never saw a red cent. And, apparently, he changes his name every time he's caught doing something questionable so that he can continue this horrendous illegal behavior. If you're in the publishing industry you might want to keep an eye out for these names: David Boyer, David Byron, Doc Byron, Daniel Boyer, Iron Dave, David Irons, Jack Burnett, Dylan Cook, Jack Sawyer, Tobey King, Christian Loche, Leo Wolfe, Kelli Kelso, Kelli Ross. If you do receive a submission from them please contact Jeanie Rector at the Horror Zine for more information since she's making it a point to keep up with his latest schinanigans after he bad-mouthed her for no apparent reason. I'm putting this out there because I'm tired of seeing my fellow writers have their work ripped off and my friends in the publishing industry be subjected to such falsehoods. It's so sad that there are such ignoble soulless people in the world. So very sad...
