How do you report offensive haters on YOUTUBE -> Please read important infor

Yesterday, we were asked if we knew how to block the commenters like Stonegroove, who have made it their mission to promote the standard lies regarding Michael Jackson on YouTube. It is imperative to confront this issue of MJ hater’s continuously spewing hatefilled rhetoric because it is their aim to ‘recruit’ others who may not know facts. We must present the truth, in civil and professional demeanor and not stoop to the name calling like Stonegroove and people of his ilk. That type of emotional display is exactly the kind of thing that reinforces the image that MJ supporters are just a bunch of emotional nutcases. So please refrain from engaging in a dialogue with the offensive person. Simple make you positive fact filled comment regarding Michael, then follow the steps below to report the offensive person’s site.

Here are the specific steps to take when reporting offensive haters to YouTube:

First, always start by visiting the YouTube channel (click on the poster’s username in blue between the video’s title and the video).

Background Image: If the channel’s background image is offensive, just scroll down to where it says Report: Profile Image Violation, and click on the Report link. Then scroll up and click on the Block User link under the Subscribe button.

One Video: If there is only one offensive video on the poster’s channel (the others look okay), do the following:

1) Dislike the video (click the thumbs down icon beside the title under the video).

2) Flag the video as inappropriate (click on Flag which is directly under the video).

Click on this link - Report This Video as Inappropriate

Click on the Select a Reason menu to pick Violent or Repulsive Content OR Hateful or Abusive Content.

When you choose, you will get a short form to fill out. From the drop down menu, choose “disability” or “race,” depending on the video’s content.

For the description, you can type something like “Disgusting attack against Michael Jackson.”

Click on the Flag This Video button.

3) Scroll down the page to leave a comment saying this video/channel is offensive, hateful or whatever best fits the specific situation.

When you flag a video, YouTube staff takes note of it and checks the video, including any comments.

YT Channel: If the poster’s channel and/or comments are offensive (are an obvious attack on MJ), do the following step by step.

Note: Not all scenarios may apply. For instance, the form only gives you two options to start with: Harassment and Hate Speech. Always choose Hate Speech. As you click on Continue and are given more multiple choice options, do your best to choose what best fits the scenario.

Next, send me a forum PM (my username is admin) and the offensive channel link so that I can personally notify our Army to do battle against them! The more people who report them, the better our chances the offender will lose his channel. I would rather you contact me than post the offensive channel at our forum, thanks.
