in a Twitter debate with someone that easily manipulated into begging the Government to take away core rights because of some emotional response to a tragedy. That's how we got the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, the Protect America Act and the Iraq War.
If you really want the Federal Government to start regulating which political symbols are acceptable, go work on repealing the First Amendment first.
Here's a slogan for you to start: "The Arizona shootings changed everything! Free speech is very pre-1/5."
Ask Bush followers for help. They're very well practiced in this cowardly, authoritarian mentality.
