#Flanclan by the same poster THX again kslmoran.:) Enjoy it "So I went back and re watched COP (of course I dvr'd it!!) and I have to say I liked it better the second time. It reminds me of the Harry Potter movies where they try and squeeze a 700 page book into 2 hours. You see it the first time and say "They left everything out" and then you watch it again and realize that a lot is in there but just condensed.

The chemistry between Joe and Brooke was good and I liked the interaction between them. And I don't care how they met, I've seen some pretty odd couples in my day, but these two at least are on the same page in lifestyle choices. I really liked the last conversation they had in bed where they decide to keep the kids. They spend a good deal of time just staring at each other like they are reading each other's minds (what we all wouldn't do to have JF staring so intently at us that way, don't deny it!). It would have been good if they had expanded that whole being in sync with each other thing.

I also liked the fight they had, it was some of the better drama in the show and more realistic, although I'm pretty sure most couples wouldn't end that kind of a fight (major issues here) with a kiss and an "I love you". I've been married 23 years and have had my share of fights (and I still love my husband!!) but I think things would have been a bit awkward for a while.

I also have to agree with Pfyre about the hospital scene. Dorothy states quite firmly that this couple are not capable of responsibly taking care of these kids and then with just a few words from Jordan (and not her most passionate ones, either) she says oh yeah you guys are perfect for them. It would have been more realistic to have her say okay you can have them but you are on probation or some other watch period (thus giving us more fodder for episodes if it becomes an actual show).

So maybe I'll have to watch it a third time and change my mind again (or at least comment on Joe's cute legs)"
