I know this is unpopular, so here are my last words on this today. cc:@graceishuman #MooreAndMe

Again, I know it's unpopular, but zero tolerance as a modus operandi is WRONG even when applied to true evils (rape being a fantastic example of evil) as when applied to something more mundane like missing homework.

Ambiguity is a precious gift. Don't squander it on fanaticism. When ambiguity and sex intersect, things can become especially troubling. But reacting to all rape allegations with identical zeal only makes sense if you believe that what happened to Winter Mullenix,[0] for instance, is the exact same evil as what is alleged to have happened to Miss A. and Miss W.[1]

And if you don't believe those wrongs are the same level of evil, then I don't understand how you can scoff at the suggestion that not all situations of sex that lack enthusiastic consent deserve an equal measure of your ire.

If you want to be angry at me for saying this, go right ahead. We'd probably agree on more things than not if instead of anger, you prioritized nuance.

Hate mail welcome at but please don't clog my tab; I'll have to block you if you do that, and I'd rather talk, not block.
