Being on stage with Lee DeWyze....Where do I even begin? It was such a surreal moment. Completely unexpected, Complete shock, Completely amazing.

We got into the venue, which was uber small, and we ended up 3rd row all the way to the right, we were right next to Lee's family :). Lee came on stage and the crowd immediately loved him. He started off with "Stay Here" then went into "Live It Up". Such energy and he was so excited to be performing :)

Then, it came to be the third song and Lee said "So is anyone's birthday today? For Real?". No one really yelled. But me and Kristin were yelling "2 weeks" because mine is in 2 weeks! The Lee said "Whose birthday is closest to today". We kept yelling 2 weeks! Then Lee says "Come up here, Cmon on, I got you". My mind was complete mush at this point. I had no clue what was going on. I saw Lee's family beside em as i walked up onto stage.

Got onto the stage and started feeling so nervous because I had no clue what was going on. He asked Lincoln for a stool for me and Jon set it down for me. I walked up to Lee and he said "This is called Earth Stood Still" and I want to dedicate this to you". I was in complete awe. He saw me shaking and said "come here" and hugged me. <3 I sat down and so much was running through my head. I started to tear up because i couldnt believe it was happening.

Then Lee opened his mouth and started to sing. He sounded so amazing and his voice was so pure. I'm shaking right now typing this. After the first chorus, he came back towards me and looked over and we both smiled at each other :)

He continued the song and it felt like Lee was just singing to me from his heart. It felt like I was the only one in the room with Lee and the band. There was 200 people in front of me but it felt like no one was there. I was so in the moment, noting could bring me down.

The song ended and Lee hugged me again and i thanked him like 4 times. I got off stage and his family was smiling and me and the group of girls where I was standing were all excited. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. The show couldve ended right there and I would be fine.


The show was beyong amazing. Lee showed off his voice beautiful and the band and him are so insync. The show was indescribably.

Finally the show ended and a group of us were hanging around talking. Then we saw Chris, Lee's guitarist. Chris is seriously the sweetest guy ever. He shook my hand and said "You were on stage right? So happy for you". He is seriously awesome.

We talked to Chris for about 5 minutes and started to leave. We heard Lee might come to talk to fans so we went over to the area and there was about 30 people there. About 10 minutes later, Screams aroses because Lee and Lincoln popped there heads out.

It got all quiet and Lee said "Thank you everyone for the support. You guys are amazing" and I said "Thank you Lee" and he realized who I was and he said "How did you enjoy the show? " and i said "Lee it was amazing. You made my birthday so amazing" and he said "Im glad I could do that and have a great birthday" <3

I was on cloud nine once again. I legit had a convo with lee from like 10 feet away and it was amazing. He came out like half hour later and I wanted to thank Lee in person for all he did that night.

I went up to him and he walked right up to me and i said "Lee, you ddont even know how much this night meant to me. I want to thank you so much for dedicated the song to me. It was so amazing and I cant tahnk you enough". He pulled me in for a hug and said "Im glad i could do this for you." <3

He went to talk to other fans and was whisked away.

This night was beyond my expectations. So many surprises. Im still speechless. I cant ever thank Lee for this amazing experience. It'll be something I will neevr ever forget and to experience this moment with my girls and other Lee fans was amazing. You guys have been so sweet with all the replies and congrats. It means the world to me. November 11th will be a day that I will never forget <3
