~TMT Teaser for Ch 36~

There was something about his expression that alarmed me, but I figured it was work related so I waited until after he’d prompted Bree to go change for our doctors appointment before I asked him what was going on.

“Lets go sit in the living room.” He suggested just above a whisper, then took my hand gently into his and gave it a firm squeeze. With that move, I was instantly fearing the worst.

He lost his job, Victoria ruined her relationship with every director she was currently working with, he had found out about James’ creepy advances, we were permanently relocating to California, or had something had happened to Jane? It could be anything and everything and I was suddenly feeling very nauseous over all the possibilities that were being thrown my way.

“You’re worrying me, Edward.” I admitted right away as he slowly helped me down onto the sofa.

“Bella, what I'm about to tell you, it's going to upset you. I need you to do your best to stay calm, can you promise me that?" He asked, then waited for my response before he continued further. I nodded my head with hesitation and took in a deep breath then folded my hands across my belly to use as a reminder that the lives growing inside of me were more important that anything else I was about to hear.

"I got a call. Jasper called me at the office and... there was a accident,”

“Oh my god is Alice okay?!” I yelped trying to stand up almost instantly. He stopped me with both hands and held me in place on the couch while my feet began tapping nervously on the ground below me.

“It’s not Alice, Bella. It's...”
