Dilution of One Person – One Vote

The Supreme Court has diluted the influence of individuals and replaced it with the influence of money. The recent decision to allow unrestricted spending on campaigns and legislative marketing is the culmination of decades of effort to replace 1 person – 1 vote with monetary management of government and law.

This incredible display of ideology driven bias, lack of rational judgment and indifference to public welfare is a declaration by the SCOTUS that representative democracy will take a back seat to government by the highest bidder. The gap between wealthy and poor that has increased dramatically in the past 40 years is now insured.

The public, marginalized by the court, will only be able to mumble weakly against the amplified bullhorns of oligarch influence.
